Carly McKeague6th Grade InclusionMs. McKeague is a Diverse Learners teacher who believes in all students and their ability to succeed. As a special education teacher, she collaborates with both colleagues and parents to advocate for the students she serves. This year, Ms. McKeague co-teaches sixth reading and math and is dedicated to ensuring all students achieve academic success.
Ms. McKeague has been teaching in Chicago for the past nine years, and has taught students from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Prior to teaching in Chicago, Ms. McKeague was a Special Education Assistant in Brookline, Massachusetts. Ms. McKeague attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied Speech Pathology and Audiology. As a lifelong learner, Ms. McKeague then attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where she earned her first Masters Degree in Specific Learning Disabilities. Most recently, Ms. McKeague earned her second Masters Degree in School Leadership. In the future, she hopes to become an empowering elementary school administrator. In her free time, Ms. McKeague enjoys traveling across the United States, perusing Farmer’s Markets, spendings time with friends and family, and reading!
