Who am I?

I grew up in rural, central Illinois and attended both Lincoln Christian College and the University of Illinois at Springfield. I completed my graduate studies in bilingual and bi-cultural education at Chicago State University. This is my 13th year teaching at Bateman Elementary School and my 14th year teaching. I taught 3rd grade for 11 years, and this is my 3rd year teaching 1st grade.
