FORGE at Bateman
In partnership with the North River Commission, Bateman is proud to be a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Awardee. This Grant allows for 5 years of funding for After School Programs and Parent Workshops for all Bateman students! Bateman's after school program, FORGE, hosts nearly 20 clubs, programs, and activities for all grade levels. Spanning from arts programs and Girls on the Run to our award winning Chess team, there is something for everyone!
Sports at Bateman
The Bateman Blaze Sports Program is for students in 5th - 8th Grades. Athletes have the opportunity to participate in full practice and game schedules that compete against neighboring Chicago Public Schools through We Got Game. Coaches work closely with athletes and families to develop sportsmanship, skills, perseverance in overcoming challenges, and teamwork in each student who chooses to participate!
