All absences should be reported through Aspen Parent Portal!
Steps to take to submit an absence:
Please contact Ms. Rivera or Mr. Colon with any questions!
- Notify your child’s teacher before the start of the day via email.
- Enter an E-Absence feature in Aspen
- You can now submit, schedule, and track student absences through the Aspen Parent Portal. That means no more making last-minute phone calls or completing paper forms!
- Sign in to your account at ASPEN.CPS.EDU and start using the E-Absence feature today. You can also learn more at Aspen E-Absence FAQs.
- Caretakers may still receive the CPS Robocall indicating your child’s absence. If your child’s absence is approved prior, you will not receive the Robocall.
- If you would like to confirm your child’s absence, please send a note with your child upon return.
