5th/6th Dual Language Inclusion

Hello! My name is Ms. Ward, and I’m very excited to be working as a fifth and sixth grade dual language co-teacher at Bateman this school year!

I grew up on the westside of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University in 2020. I have undergraduate degrees in Special Education and Spanish with an endorsement in English as a Second Language, as well as my master's in Special Education. This is my sixth year at Bateman, and I taught in Grand Rapids, Michigan before that, working with both elementary and middle schoolers. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy rock climbing, reading, swimming, and spending time with family (especially my dog Pony!). I’m so happy to continue being a part of the Bateman family!
