Ms. Alex Ward

Dual Language Inclusion Teacher

Hello! My name is Ms. Ward, and I’m very excited to be working as a dual language co-teacher at Bateman this school year.

I grew up on the westside of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University in 2020. I have a degree in Special Education and Spanish with an endorsement in English as a Second Language, and have recently earned my master's in Special Education. This is my fifth year at Bateman, and I taught in Grand Rapids, Michigan before that, working with both elementary and middle schoolers. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy swimming, reading, and spending time with family. I’m so happy to be a part of the Bateman family!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at [email protected], or call/text my school phone number at (773) 236-0971.
