Diana Delgado

Preschool/Preescolar

Hello my name is Diana Delgado and I want to take the opportunity to welcome you to room 102 Pre-School  Blended Classroom.    I have been a teacher at Bateman School for 16 years and  was actually a substitute teacher in room 102.  I also had the pleasure of being a Kindergarten teacher at Bateman for 5 years .  I love working with our preschoolers and helping them reach their fullest potential by providing a positive emotional support and activities that develop their cognitive,social/emotional, language and physical skills.

I am a  graduate from Northeastern Illinois University  were I received my B.A in Early Childhood Education, as well as,  B.A in Spanish in 2004.
I have  my M.A in Curriculum Instruction with a Bilingual/ESL endorsement. Education is important to me and I feel that we owe it to our children to teach them that we are constantly learning.

When I am at home , I love spending time with my husband and two boys.  We enjoy going to the park, zoo, beach and movies. I look forward to great school year!
