Hi everyone! I am the English Second Grade Inclusion Teacher. I teach ELA, Math, Independent Functioning and Social Emotional Learning. I am passionate about guiding students to develop independence and confidence in themselves. 

This is my 7th year at Bateman. This year I am working with Ms. Fitzner in Room 201, teaching 7-8 grade Math resource, and SEL/Science in 2-5 self contained setting. I work closely with the 2nd grade team and my fellow Learning Behavior Specialists to ensure we are supporting all students of the Bateman community.

Personal Information

I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I studied Special Education and played on the Women's Ice Hockey Club Team. I was born and raised in Chicagoland and grew up a big Blackhawks and Cubs fan. I now live in South Old Irving Park with my fiancé. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, and taking care of my many plants. I am so happy to be part of the Bateman Family once again this year :)
