I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a young girl and am so happy that I get to share my passion with many students here at Bateman! I was born and raised in Chicago and am a product of CPS, myself. My bachelors degree in Elementary Education is from DePaul University and my masters in English as a Second Language/Bilingual Education is from American College of Education. I have had the pleasure of teaching many grade levels including kindergarten, first grade, second grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. I love to share my love of learning with students, it's the best job around!
In my time outside of school, I enjoy playing volleyball, spending time with my family and my two dogs!
In 201, we are focused on being life long learners! We are an inclusive and empowered classroom of readers, authors, engineers, scientists, and historians. We also focus on being kind and respectful throughout the school day!
