Jillian Fitzner

2nd Grade

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a young girl and am so happy that I get to share my passion with many students here at Bateman! I was born and raised in Chicago and am a product of CPS, myself. My bachelors degree in Elementary Education is from DePaul University and my masters in English as a Second Language/Bilingual Education is from American College of Education. I have had the pleasure of teaching many grade levels including kindergarten, first grade, second grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. I love to share my love of learning with students, it's the best job around! 

In my time outside of school, I enjoy playing volleyball, spending time with my family and my two dogs!
