Hej! My name is Ms. Kelly, and I have been a CPS teacher for 15+ years, and I also taught for a year in Denmark, which is where I was born and raised. I am quite inquisitive by nature and love to learn about the world, so I am excited to be able to observe, investigate, experiment, and research alongside our 7th graders as we embark on a voyage to become more globally aware. Investigating and researching are two of my favorite disciplines as an educator, and I look forward to using the scientific process to brainstorm and solve problems with our students as well as for students to create projects on self-selected topics. On a more personal level, my husband and I have two kids attending CPS schools, and our family also consists of two dogs and two guinea pigs. Among other things, I enjoy reading, gardening, watching TV, and playing board games.
