As a first grade teacher at Bateman, I am deeply committed to the success of our students. In my classroom, we focus on hard work and having fun. My teaching reflects my belief that each of my students comes to school with different strengths and t importance of students learning from each other, as much as from me. I think this is a commonly held belief throughout my participation on the LSC.
Additionally I hope to bring to the LSC my perspective as a fairly recent newcomer to the Bateman Community. When I was welcomed a few years ago into the school community, I was inspired by the warmth and caring that our school had for its students and parents. As a part of the LSC I want to continue to build off that trust and foster even more communication among, educators parents, and administrators.
