Mr. Warden - Room 220
Engineering (Grades 4-8)
This year, I am excited to teach engineering classes to students in grades 4-8. In my classes, students will create projects using the six steps of the Engineering Design Process (Identify, Imagine, Plan, Create, Test and Improve).
Students in grades 4 and 5 will learn how to code using Scratch. They will also improve their typing skills, learn to create Google Documents and play engineering games.
Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 will participate in Project Lead the Way (PLTW). The PLTW program gives students the tools they need to make connections to careers and real-world problems. Students may complete units in one or more of the following PLTW content areas: App Creators, Design and Modeling and Automation and Robotics.
