March 17, 2020 Bateman Broadcast Buenos dias, Bateman students, parents and staff!  Today is Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Each day, we will be sending announcements and activities to do with your child(ren) at home! A huge thank you to our wonderful Lunchroom and Security staff for providing meals to our families!  Don't forget, three days of meals will be available from 9am - 1pm each day! Happy Birthday! Mystery Musician Each day, we will add a new clue to the Mystery Musician Competition to continue celebrating Music in our Schools Month!  Tuesday: This singer and actress has performed in many movie musicals in her career! Click here to enter your guess!  The answer will be revealed in Friday's Broadcast! Today, we will have Art with Ms. Chrisman! Ms. Chrisman has prepared several fun projects to keep you learning about elements and principles of design!   Design a BeBateman coloring page for Ms. Chrisman's free choice area! Rules: Draw in pencil, trace with a black marker, your name and room number must be written in the bottom corner. I will choose 5 winners once we return to school. Design your own dream house! How many rooms would it have? Swimming pool or indoor soccer field? Are there stairs or slides to each floor? Construct a robot with glue and tape from items in your recycling bin [cardboard, toilet paper tubes, pasta boxes, plastic lids, tin foil]. Click here for the K-2 Art Packet! Daily Read Aloud Today, we will have an interactive doodle read aloud with one of our favorite authors, Mo Willems!   Each day, join Mo Willems for his daily Lunch Doodles!  Thanks to a few of our parents who shared this with us! Daily Brain Break Time to move our bodies!  Looking for a movement break throughout these next two weeks?
