  • To Oliver B. in Room 102!  Great job sorting objects by numbers!  From Ms. Delgado
  • To Alexis A. in Room 205!  Alexis completed 45 minutes on RAZ kids and got a 5/5 on her Amazing Octopus Quiz. Way to keep up the non-fiction reading! From Ms. Sterczek
  • To Ely B. in Room 205! On top of completing his entire take home packet , Ely read 5 books on RAZ Kids and got 5/5 on all his quizzes. From Ms. Sterczek
  • To Luciano P. in Room 205! He read the most books on RAZ kids in class 205! He over 2 hours and got 5/5 on all his quizzes. I can't wait to ask him about park rangers and Sally Ride when we get back! From Ms. Sterczek
  • To CJ M. in Room 205!  What an allstar! CJ is challenging himself by practicing 4th grade math skills. Writing big numbers and place value help build on his understanding of other math concepts. From Ms. Sterczek

Mystery Musician

Each day, we will add a new clue to the Mystery Musician Competition to continue celebrating Music in our Schools Month! 
  • Clue 1: This musician is an Italian composer. (Monday)
  • Clue 2:  This musician was born into a musical family.  His mother played piano and his father was an opera conductor and composer.  (Tuesday)
  • Clue 3: This musician started composing on folk guitar as a teenager, and now composes mostly on piano. (Wednesday)

Time to get busy! 

1) Talk to a family member about one of their favorite childhood memories. Ask them to tell you the story and to share lots of details. 2) Draw a picture of the story. 3) Retell the story aloud to your family member for practice. 4) Write down the story or your favorite part of the story.  Check out the Seesaw Lesson here!
