NBGC will Remain Open Wednesday, January 30thNBGC families and friends, With CPS being closed tomorrow NBGC has decided to keep it’s doors open. We will be serving our community as we always have and will be here from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. All athletic programs will go on as scheduled. With temperatures reaching significantly low numbers we are asking for your cooperation in making this day run as smoothly as possible. We ask that you please email [email protected] no later than 5:00 pm tonight if you will be dropping your child off. We want to make sure that we are appropriately staffed. With frigid temperatures come many variables outside of our control. Before leaving the house in the morning to brave the weather and drop off your kids please call the clubhouse at 773-463-4161 to make sure that the building is up and running. As always please make sure to send your child with a lunch. Fees

Dear Bateman / Cleveland Parents, As we quickly approach the end of session 2, I would like to send out a friendly reminder that session 2 will conclude on Thursday, January 31st. Session 3 will begin on Friday, February 1st-April 4th. With that said, the last day to cancel session 3 will be Friday, January 18th. All cancellations must be in writing to [email protected]. Session 3 payment will be due on Friday, January 25th unless you have other written financial arrangements in place. No further action is required for families who will be continuing with us for session 3. Session 3 invoices will be sent out this week via email. NBGC Winter Floor Hockey and Girls Volleyball registration is going on now until January 28th. For more information, click on the link below. http://www.nbgc.org/athletics.html Bateman Chess Success!On Saturday, January 12, the Bateman chess team traveled to Whitney Young High School for a team-based tournament called CPS Kings and Queens. The 16 Bateman players were divided into three groups that competed round-by-round against other schools directly. After four challenging rounds, the K-6 group, led by Andrey N., earned a 2nd place trophy with three team points, and each player was awarded a medal. Congratulations to all participants! The team will have another competition this Saturday, January 19, at De La Salle Institute. Let’s continue our winning ways!
