***ATTENTION PARENTS - COMMUNITY ALERT
Dear Parents and Guardians, The safety of your children is always our top priority, which is why we must inform you of an incident that was reported near our school today. One of our students reported being approached by an adult stranger in a red van on her way to school this morning. The student arrived at school safely and reported the incident, at which point the Chicago Police and CPS Office of Safety and Security were contacted. No students were harmed as a result of this incident, and we will cooperate fully in the police investigation. As a precaution, please remind students to walk directly to and from school and to travel in groups whenever possible. Please also remind all children to report any suspicious behavior to the school immediately. I thank you for your support as we work to keep our children safe. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at 773.534.5055. Sincerely, Georgia Davos-Vetas Principal CHICAGO (May 16, 2017) – Emerald City Theatre (ECT) has announced the 20 winning schools benefiting from the 2017- 2018 One Fund campaign.
