Good Afternoon Bateman Family,
I have a very special announcement to share with you. According to the district’s policy for evaluating school performance, also known as as the School Quality Rating Policy (SQRP), Bateman Elementary is now rated a Level 1+ school, which is the highest rating at CPS! We are very proud of this achievement and recognition. Congratulations to our students, teachers, staff, and school community for helping Bateman reach this level of excellence. With your support, we look forward to continued success!
Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.
Good Morning Bateman Parents and Community,
Please be advised that there was a safety incident reported after school hours on Tuesday, October 4 outside, but near the school. No one was physically hurt. School will be in session today. We have been in contact with the Chicago Police Department and CPS Safety and Security department. They are aware of the neighborhood incident and will be providing us the support we need to keep our students safe throughout the school day. We will have extra officers at the school and in the surrounding neighborhood ensuring student safety. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
