A huge thank you to Cermak Produce for donating tons of goods for the Thanksgiving Food drive! We look forward to helping several families in need this Thanksgiving. The Bateman Thanksgiving Food Drive is a huge success. We want to thank the Bilingual Advisory Counsel (BAC) for sponsoring and organizing the Food Drive. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. Have a great day. :)  We are having a Thanks giving Food Drive all week to help families in need. The Food Drive is lead by The Bilingual Advisory Counsel (BAC) they are collecting non-perishable food items to be given to families that are in need of assistance this Thanksgiving. The collected goods are donated to about 20 plus families. The items can be sent with students, or you can stop by the main entrance to drop off donations in the main office.

Help someone have a special Thanksgiving this year! 
 We are happy to announce Tot Spot is back! Join us on November 16th from 9:00 am to 10:15 am, Room 118. Parent Teacher Association (PTA) will be sponsoring Tot Spot at Bateman on Wednesdays ( See schedule below). Children will have the opportunity to socialize in a safe, familiar setting while adults can make friends and get support from people who understand exactly what they are going through. The morning will include a combination of Open Play and Organized Activities. Caregiver must stay with child. Ages:0 to 5.
 Report Card Pick Up/ Recoger Califaciones Wednesday, November 9/ miércoles, 9 de noviembre 11:00 am -- 3:00 pm 3:45 pm -- 6:00 pm THERE ARE NO CLASSES FOR STUDENTS ON THIS DAY! ¡NO HAY CLASES PARA ESTUDIANTES ESTE DIA! Wednesday, November 9th is the Chicago Public Schools Report Cart Pick-Up day. Since report cards must be given to a parent/guardian, it is important that you come to school to talk with your child's teacher about his/her progress. Please contact your child's teacher to schedule an appointment on Report Card Pick-Up day.
