News from the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club!

Good afternoon Bateman Parents,

The school year is off to a great start. So far in program we have done Team-building, Sports, Fitness, Technology & Free Play. The kids have transitioned very well into our program. Please read over the following important bullet points:

• Basketball Practice Begins this week. If your child is registered for Basketball, they will be walked over to the Clubhouse for their practice. Please pick them up at NBGC on their practice days. They will be attending the first practice that is scheduled for that day, which may be different from their scheduled practice. If you would prefer that your child attends their assigned home practice, please let me know. 

• On Friday, November 4, 2016, CPS will be closed for a School Improvement Day. NBGC will be open from 8:00am - 6:00pm. Please pre-register your child by Wednesday, October 2, 2016 if your child will be in attendance on this day. If you do not pre-register you will be charged a $10 fee on the day of. Please make sure your child has a lunch for the day. A afternoon snack will be provided. 

• On Wednesday, November 9, 2016, CPS will be closed for Report Card Pick Up Day. NBGC will be open from 8:00am - 6:00pm. Please pre-register your child by Friday, November 4, 2016 if your child will be in attendance on this day. If you do not pre-register you will be charged a $10 fee on the day of. Please make sure your child has a lunch for the day. A afternoon snack will be provided. 

• On Friday, November 11, 2016, CPS will be closed for Veterans Day. NBGC will be open from 8:00am - 6:00pm. Please pre-register your child by Friday, November 4, 2016 if your child will be in attendance on this day. If you do not pre-register you will be charged a $10 fee on the day of. Please make sure your child has a lunch for the day. A afternoon snack will be provided.   

• NBGC will be CLOSED Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - Friday, November 25, 2016 for the Holiday. NBGC will host their Annual Pep Rally and Thanksgiving Classics during this time. More detailed information will be emailed to you in a few weeks.  After-school program will resume on Monday, November 28, 2016.
