**NBGC Winter Break Camp will be Tuesday, December 27th - Friday, December 30th and Tuesday, January 3rd - Friday, January 6th from 8:00am - 6:00pm. Cost: $50 Non- Trip Days, $60 Field Trip Days or $360 for all Eight Days. NBGC Shirt is required on field trip days. Shirts can be purchased for $10. Dec. 3, the Bateman chess team competed in the Chicago Scholastic Chess League team tournament at Taft High School. We had three 5-person teams playing. The top Junior High team, nicknamed “Bateman Blue” won their section with a perfect 4-0 score. They were led by Umair Ahmed on board 1, Esteban Taboada on board 2, Leonard Rionaula on board 3, Layla Rodriguez on board 4, and Jim Nguyen on board 5. Among the five players, they only lost one of their 20 games!
