Message from the Principal

Dear Bateman Families and Friends,

We hope you are having a wonderful summer so far and are making memories with your children!

As you may know, this summer we have quite a few capital projects taking place at our school. The Bateman Playground will be closed starting on Monday, July 23rd to ensure the safety of all community members as our new turf is installed! We apologize for the inconvenience but are looking forward to seeing all of our students playing in this new space!

Also, please be on the look out for classroom assignments for the 2018-2019 school year in the beginning of August. You will receive a letter from the school with your child's homeroom and teacher.

Please be sure to check out upcoming events below, rest up, and have lots of fun together this summer! We look forward to seeing you at HornerFest tomorrow and on the first day of school, September 4th! As always, Be Bateman!

Buy your school supplies now!

We are excited to offer you a new program that will help the school and make it a breeze for parents to get school supplies for next year. ● Supplies are shipped “Next Day” to your home for free.
● Supplies are shipped directly to the classroom (before school starts)

HornerFest Family Day
Saturday, July 14th from 8:00 am to 10:45 pm

We hope to see you at the 4th Annual HornerFest at our very own Horner Park! This all day event is a family friendly time to gather as a community with music, games, food, and more! From 3 pm - 6pm, you will have an opportunity to "Challenge the Champions" of Bateman's Chess Team and sign up to support our Friends Of Parent Group, the Bateman Boosters! Lunch Stop at Bateman
Monday, June 25th to Friday, August 24th from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

All children 18 and under can come to the Bateman Playground on the Sacramento side to receive free lunch this summer! Come say hi to Ms. Virginia and enjoy a healthy lunch!
