Message from Administration Dear Bateman Families and Friends, Bateman is a truly special place.  We feel so fortunate to have the privilege of calling this school not only our work, but our second home. That's what our school is to so many of our children.  We witness it everyday through their smiles, joyful interactions, and learning experiences. We are quickly approaching our annual Boostin' for Bateman Spring Fling!  This is the biggest opportunity to show how much you care about Bateman and celebrate each of our students in our amazing school community.  At this event, you will have the opportunity to mingle with friends and teachers, bid on exciting auction items and teacher experience parties, participate in a live auction, and so much more!  Ultimately, you have the opportunity to give back and support the instructional materials that make your child's educational experience meaningful here at school.   Please join us in supporting our school and buy your tickets today!  We hope to see everyone there! The 3rd grader's were immersed in the true story of Ruby Bridges' bravery as she became the first Black student to start integration in U.S. schools. They worked on a fun and interactive activity to identify Ruby's traits and justify why those traits describe her.   7th grade students studied African Americans that made major contributions in the medical field! We need your help!  We are currently soliciting items for the Spring Fling: Eat, Drink & Be Bateman fundraising event. Every item will have a significant impact as we work toward our biggest fundraising goal ever -- $40,000 to enhance technology for ALL kids, K-8 at Bateman.  Reach out to [email protected] for more info on how you can help make this our best auction yet.
