Did you know that Bateman is a Lunch Stop site again this summer? We hope to see you all at the Bateman Playground by the Community Garden (Sacramento side). Children 18 or younger get free and healthy meals this summer at Chicago Public Schools LunchStop sites from June 25th to August 24th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday-Friday. We want to congratulate our 2018 Bateman Graduates for a wonderful year! We are proud of all our students and wish them all the best as they move on to the next chapter of their lives. We also thank all the parents and families that were able to attend.

WWII Tuskegee Airman Visit
After just returning from Washington D.C. and visiting the African American History Museum and the Air & Space Museum, our 8th Graders had a special visit from Jack Lyle, World War II Veteran and Tuskegee Airman. What an honor to be in his presence and hear his experiences defending our country!

Fine Arts Night
The auditorium was transformed into the finest art gallery in Chicago featuring every single Bateman Artist! Congratulations to Ms. Tambone, Ms. Chrisman, and Mrs. Soto for inspiring our young creative minds and celebrating the arts at Bateman! A special thanks to the Student Council for providing light refreshments in the gallery for all of the visitors! Thank you to everyone who came to support Fine Arts Night!
