HIP HOP Performance: Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 at 2PM

Over the past few months our 7th grade students have been learning about the five pillars of Hip Hop: Dance, Graffiti/Street Art, Rap/Spoken Word, DJing, and Community. Students worked with teaching artists from the Old Town School of Folk Music, which was made possible by the $15,000 Creative Schools Fund Grant awarded to Bateman Elementary.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 at 2:00pm for a culminating performance by our 7th graders. We look forward to seeing you there. ​

En los últimos meses nuestros estudiantes de 7º grado han estado aprendiendo sobre los cinco pilares del Hip Hop Dance, Graffiti/arte de la calle, Rap/palabra hablada, DJ, y la Comunidad. Los estudiantes trabajaron con maestros artistas de la escuela Old Town School of Folk Music, la cual fue posible gracias a los $15,000 dolares que fueron otorgados a la escuela Bateman a través de Creative Schools Fund Grant.
