On a Saturday morning, May 21, 40 8th grade students concluded their study of the Holocaust with a trip to the Holocaust Museum in Skokie. The students had a guided tour of the artifacts and displays in the museum before hearing a 45 minute presentation from Joanne Brainin, a Holocaust survivor. The museum visit also related to their study of acts of genocide in Guatemala and Bosnia.
