UNICEF and WWE Congratulate Ms. Walsh's Health Class and Celebrate World Children's Day!We are so proud of our students for being a part of the UNICEF Kid Power Program! Bateman 4th graders have been wearing wristbands to track their daily activity - the more active the child, the more help they offer to those in need in our community! The program aims to provide meals, doctor visits, and trees to communities. UNICEF came to Bateman to celebrate World Children's Day and to congratulate our 4th graders for their dedication to improving our community! Way to go 4th Graders! As a special surprise, WWE Superstars, in partnership with UNICEF, awarded Bateman 100,000 extra Kid Power Coins to have an even greater impact on Chicago! Ali, Kalisto, Apollo Crews, Dana Brooke and Carmella danced with No Way Jose and created plans to give 50,000 Kid Power Coins to meals for those in need in Chicago, 30,000 Kid Power Coins for medical visits, and 20,000 Kid Power Coins to plant 400 trees in our city! World Children’s Day is an annual global campaign and moment ‘for children, by children’. On November 20, children and young people will stand up for their rights, advocating and raising awareness for the most pressing issues facing themselves and their peers. UNICEF will be celebrating all that children and young people are doing themselves to make a better world! #WWEUNICEFComments are closed.
