At Bateman, our values of kindness, empowerment, and inclusivity form the foundation of our educational approach. Our theme emphasizes the importance of growth for all while sustaining a responsive approach for varying students needs and abilities. By engaging in providing well rounded opportunities and inspiring an inner will, we will continue to learn from one another, broaden our perspectives, and build stronger connections of support within our school, community and nation. Bateman Wellness Policy As we begin the school year, please take a few moments to review our school wellness policies.  We appreciate your attention to these policies, and thank you for helping to keep Bateman a healthy school! Bateman Approved Snack List Wellness Policy Reminders   Bateman Student & Parent Handbook Educators will be reviewing updated policies and routines with students throughout this week. We encourage you to read the Student & Parent Handbook to familiarize yourself and reinforce the expectations at home. Upcoming Events These events are all within the next 2 weeks! Kindergarten Parent BooHoo Coffee Tuesday, August 22nd | Bateman Playground Kindergarten caretakers are invited to stay for a cup of coffee, community building, and maybe a few tears right after drop off on Tuesday, August 22nd! We know this is a big week for parents, as well as students! Stay to get to know other parents and caretakers, as well as administration! We look forward to seeing you on the playlot! Dine to Donate at Angelo's Thursday, August 24th & Thursday, August 31st from 4pm-10pm Join us for a Dine to Donate at Angelo's Wine Bar located at 3026 W Montrose Ave on Thursday, August 24th and Thursday, August 31st from 4:00PM - 10:00PM! Be sure to mention 'Bateman' and Angelo's Wine Bar will give 20% back to support ALL students at Bateman Elementary School. Bateman's Night Out with the Chicago Fire October 7th, 2023 Join us for a Chicago Fire FC soccer match on October 7th to help support the Fire and Bateman PE and Athletics!  We will receive $5 for each ticket sold, with the proceeds benefitting our Physical Education and Athletics Department.  The match on October 7th is also Fan Appreciation Night!
